Terms of Service:
Warranty/Returns

  • Every item comes with a 30 day limited warranty covering workmanship and materials from the day you receive it. Repairs or replacements will be made for free within this period. If repairs or replacements are needed after the 30 days, an hourly rate will be applied. The client is responsible for the shipping fees to and from Kryptid Kreations. 

  • Please note that the warranty will be null and void if:
       The item has been abused or used improperly.
       ​The item has been altered, repaired, or modified by yourself or another maker.

  • Custom-made costumes, as a standard, are not made for especially high-demand applications, LARP combat, roughhousing, or use on rough terrain. If you require a costume that can withstand above average wear, please let us know so that we can quote and construct appropriately.

  • We DO NOT offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once a commission is completed and mailed off.

Work in Progress Photos

  • We will post pictures of Suits in progress and as they are completed on our Telegram channel and/or on Twitter

  • We will send work in progress pictures of the Head from start to finish to ensure the commissioner is happy with the expression, eyes, and other elements before we start to fur the Head.​

  • We ask you to trust our judgment as the hired artist, and let us pick what furs we think best suit your project. If you require specific furs or fur matching for your project, let us know in advance so we can work with you to determine if this is something we can accommodate.

  • We reserve the right to use any media of the suits we create for our website and social media accounts.

Payment Plans

  • Payment plans are available and negotiable on a per-commission basis. A 10% payment plan fee will be added to the overall cost, split up between payments. Payment plan is effective after the 50% deposit.

Anti-Harassment Policy

As much as I would like to make suits all day every day, I am disabled with other obligations, and cannot guarantee deadlines when making suits. I do my work at my pace, and will not accept being harassed for a suit deadline. Furthermore, I accept commissions for suits from people that I choose to work with. If I deny your commission request, that is a final decision.

If you are local and are asked to visit the studio for measurements, fittings, or any other reason, appropriate clothing must be worn. If appropriate clothing is not worn, you will be asked to leave and come back at a later scheduled time, to be billed seperately. The definition of “Appropriate Clothing" will be discussed between artist and client before the visit.

Cancellations/Alterations

  • If something happens and you cannot receive the suit, we will only accept cancellations up to 30% completion. After that there is nothing we can do.

  • Commission materials and patterns are made using the reference given during the quote. After the physical construction of the piece has begun, any alterations desired by the client are at the sole discretion of the maker, and may require an additional non-negotiable fee. Maker reserves the right to deny any alterations once construction has begun.

  • Any clients found to have engaged in illicit/illegal activities that reflect negatively on KryptidKreations and/or the furry fandom at large will have their commission cancelled and refunded with no further contact from KryptidKreations.

***Any Violation of the Anti-Harassment Policy will void your funds, commission, and spot in the queue.***

Customs/Import Fees/Tarrifs

  • Import fees are a possibility for any type of package sent overseas, including fursuits and fursuit parts. These import fees can vary in cost, and therefore are not covered by the cost of the suit, nor the cost of the shipping after the suit is completed. Import fees are to be paid by the importer, and not the maker sending the package. Import fees are different for every country, and cannot be pre-determined until after the package is shipped. The buyer is responsible for paying all local import fees separately from each Kryptid Kreations commission. Kryptid Kreations will not be held accountable or responsible for the possibility or payment of these fees.
